Quantitative determination of a Mesalazine using reversed phase high- performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC)

Mesalazine was quantified in a fast, accurate and sensitive way using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method. In this method, separation column of porous silica particles L10 (300 × 4.6mm) used, the flow rate is 0.8 ml/min, temperature 25 °C, reagent wavelength 230 nm, injection volume 20 μl. As for mobile phase, it consisted acetonitrile 10% 0.1 phisphoric acid 0.1% 90% water pH 4. The method validated by calculating recovery that ranged between (95.0457-102.280%), correlation coefficient (0.9991) linearity (20-160 μg/ml).The successfully applied quantitative determination mentioned drug.
